A Raised Glass To A Group Of Extraordinary Gentlemen

This has been a rather hectic time at Casa Cojones (hence no Florida/Ottawa Creamy Middle...well, that and it was a pretty dull game), however, I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge our friends at Four Habs Fans for honouring our little wager. Hopefully, loyal readers, you both have been as amused as I have.

And as Every Hab Fan notes in the comments (and HF 29 so succinctly put it here), we will always be united by the fact that we both think the Leafs SUCK! So about the rematch...

Yeah it would be a lot of work for you to do a similar piece 7 more times.

Excellent piece but you definitely should have done more reminding them that if it wasn't for the greatest goalie of all time (for now) that the Habs would never have won in 86 or 93. And that's 14 years ago and counting. I was born when the Leafs' drought was at 16. I know how that sort of shit can pick up speed.

Of course sens fans and Habs fans have to unite against the Leafs. One team can't make the playoffs and the other can't beat us in them.*

*ignore last two years.

only habs and sens fans unite against us? I thought that was a league wide thing.
We Leafs fans never unite with anyone against anyone, the closest we get is a Mexican stand off.

Actually, Jared, I think the Leafs are one Mexican short of a standoff, and JFJ let that one get away.

Holy crap. I think I have socks older than you. Take heart. The Sens are at 79 years and counting. Of course, for 60 of those years we had taken our pucks and gone home. Which makes it 19 I guess. Which makes it a shorter drought than Toronto! Sweet. I love self serving math.

Sorry, it's still 79 years!

I also love self-serving math.
